I've got something to say!

It's been a few days (ok maybe it's over a week...who's counting?) since I posted anything on the Blahg. So here we go.

I had kind of a weird week. Lots of friends, lots of triumph's, lots of tragedies, lots of tragedies averted...over all it was a week of retrospection that I am glad that I had. Sometimes you need to just step back and look at the painting instead of focusing on the details. So that's what I did. The painting looks pretty good but maybe I need to add something.

So I am.

I decided to record a 'solo' album. Finally. I've been talking about doing one since 2003 and I finally have the idea honed in enough that I can finish they lyrics and finish the songs. I've decided to call the record EXPECTATIONS. I am going to have a bunch of friends play on it and it's going to be a lot of fun for me. I'll give more details as time moves along, but I am excited to do this in the next few months coming up.

Also, a lot of you were asking about my dad. He is doing very well and thank you for asking. He will go back in for another round of tests soon to see how the chemo is responding and we are all saying our prayers that it did.

Tonight we are in Los Angeles. This is a strange city for me to be in for many of reasons. I hope I make it out alive.

til next time.

  1. Looking forward to a solo album from the guy who wrote one of the classic 3rd-wave ska songs, "Mass Appeal Madness"
